About

My passion for photography began while studying woven textile design at The Scottish College of Textiles in the early 80s.
My enthusiasm for creating images has grown, focussing on the light and form of land and seascapes around Scotland with a closer interest in the unique colours, textures and shape of 'AGED' subjects.....rust, decay and the unique qualities of water ...'FLOW'.
My love of photography as a creative tool has enabled me to discover new possibilities for my imagery, consistently striving to improve the standard and quality of the original images I create.
A more recent season has seen me develop a growing enjoyment and appreciation when photographing wildlife of all wonderful types, whether winged, in or by the water and around the Highlands and Islands countryside (with the occasional foray into the city).
